Here are a couple compositions I did for the same assignment. I like "The factory" because I think it works better. My instructor said the "radioactive room" is ok but I need to still work on it because the two focal points are fighting each other and I agree. I only began using photoshop for the first time a few weeks ago but I really am enjoying it.
These are really beautiful! I agree with your teacher's comment on the radioactive room, but I really like the spotlight used in "the factory," it really gives dramatic effect.
