Assault

So, far this is a very very rough sketch of a project I'm doing in "drawing from imagination." It's a girl being assaulted my a creepy middle-aged man. She's reaching for her Swiss army knife and I'm thinking the background is going to be "the tenderloin". I plan to put clothes on them of course and add more things falling out of the purse. Also, her legs are danging off a curb and so is the purse.

Here are a couple compositions I did for the same assignment. I like "The factory" because I think it works better. My instructor said the "radioactive room" is ok but I need to still work on it because the two focal points are fighting each other and I agree. I only began using photoshop for the first time a few weeks ago but I really am enjoying it.

Here are some characters I worked on for my visual development class. I just began drawing 3 months ago so I realize there is a lot of room for improvement. But still, I'm quite happy with the way they turned out. It is a "steampunk" take on charlie and the chocolate factory.
