Amazing animatronics by Gustav Hoegen

I may not have a the genius eye of an animator of 20+ years but this looks pretty damn good.

This week in Animation Mentor, we are doing an assignment which requires us to animate two balls of the following choices: bowling ball, ping pong ball or a beach ball. I chose a bowling ball and a beach ball. It occurred to me that a physics class would be quite a good idea but that's a different subject for another time. Speaking of which, this is a great PHYSICS BALL BOUNCE SITE

So far, this is my animation:

First animation mentor animation assignment.

I know everyone thinks it's simple but its always a good idea to brush up on the ol' bouncing ball exercise every now and then. My mentor, Ryan recommended me stay away from squash and stretch and rotations for now so it is verrrry simple looking.

great resources for melscripts to make life easier in maya!

I would particularly recommend the push/pull script. Realllly useful!
